Nate Smith, one of the “most engaging and creative drummers in the world of jazz and its adjacent sounds,” returns to The Alluvion Jazz Series after his unbelievable debut performance with his trio on our stage last winter. 

Nate Smith is a 2x GRAMMY AWARD-WINNING polymath musician bandleader, composer, producer, and virtuosic drummer whose groundbreaking work as a recording artist and performer in multiple genres has made him a unique figure in popular culture and one of the most in-demand players of our generation.

The Alluvion welcomes Blue Note Records artist Kiefer from LA to our stage. Kiefer is a modern pianist, producer, and composer known for a unique blend of jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music and a central figure in the diverse independent music scene of Los Angeles. Performing a set with his full band as a part of The Alluvion Jazz Series

The outstanding Djangophonique make their highly requested return to The Alluvion! This time with stories about Django Rheinhardt and the culture of the time woven in with the live music performance. Narrated by members of the band, “Django Stories” is a unique show that was well received at the Ark in Ann Arbor last Winter.

The Go Rounds return to Traverse City for an unprecedented two night run at The Alluvion. The best of both worlds will be on display from this truly dynamic band and venue. 

Night one: fully seated listening room experience highlighting the softer side of The Go Rounds.

Night two: no seats, let's boogie! High energy standing room rock show.

The Alluvion will provide the band with the ideal setting for each show to accommodate their full range. We highly recommend both nights.
