The Allman Brothers Band arrival on the musical scene paved the way for several other notable bands. Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top said "They were the best of all of us, a true brotherhood of players that went beyond race and ego…it was a thing of beauty." The band's extended generations of fans, view the Allmans as pioneers of "latter-day jam rock" and one of America's single most influential bands. An unparalleled balance of true blues playing combined with one-of-a-kind original compositions, and iconic improvisation. A story that still exists today.
