Songs of love, stories of the road, and the music that brought them together.
Husband-and-wife duo Hilary James and Kevin DiSimone bring a deeply personal and musically rich performance to The Alluvion with "Our Foolish Hearts"—a cabaret-style evening exploring the many facets of love: from falling head over heels to heartbreak and healing.
They’ll be joined by local musical favorites Jack Dryden on bass and Will Harris on drums, rounding out a soulful, sophisticated evening that promises elegance, emotion, and a celebration of love in all its forms.
HILARY JAMES
Hilary, the daughter of legendary jazz pianist Bob James, draws on her background as a Broadway vocalist and interpreter of the Great American Songbook.
She’ll share songs and stories from her wide-ranging career as a working actress and singer.
KEVIN DISIMONE
Kevin, a seasoned performer with a 40-year career as a working musician, has traveled the world, composed and sung on well-known commercial jingles, and lent his voice to countless albums.
He’ll also share songs and stories from his remarkable journey—including his ten years as pianist, background vocalist, songwriter, and producer for Barry Manilow—along with original songs he and Hilary have written and recorded together.
