SHORT STOP

SCOTT FOOR
Real stories, no gloss.
Scott Foor is a singer/songwriter and guitarist whose music is rooted in real life. It is equal parts hard work and heartache.
Born in a small town near Saginaw, MI, Scott’s earliest musical influence came from family gatherings where his grandmother would play Hank Williams and Willie Nelson. Those formative sounds influenced his musical storytelling with honesty and tradition. Like his hero, John Prine, Scott finds meaning in everyday life. His artistic voice transmutes the ordinary into something lasting and resonant.
Two years ago, Scott relocated to Traverse City, where he began carving out his path in the music scene. Through countless open mic nights, he found his voice and the confidence to tell his stories the way they were meant to be told; unfiltered and unapologetic.
Scott’s work has grit; it’s honest, lived-in, and palpably real. Look no further for music that’s unpretentious, heartfelt, and true.
