The trio will feature selections from "Fractured Fiddle Tunes" and a few of Julin's original compositions. Recently, during a concert, Julin told the audience, "We may have invented a genre called Weather Channel Grass."

DON JULIN
Don Julin, the author of the best-selling "Mandolin For Dummies" (Wiley 2012) and creator of Mandolins Heal The World (online mandolin school), has developed a reputation for being one of the most eclectic mandolin players and teachers on the scene today.
Don has released over 20 CDs of original music and played on countless others. His original compositions appear in many network and cable television programs. Recent clients include HBO, NBC, Showtime, Bravo, National Geographic Explorer, and more.
His 2024 release, Fractured Fiddle Tunes, is a collection of re-imagined traditional fiddle tunes.
TOM KNIFIC
Bassist, composer, and educator, Tom Knific, has made a life from his diverse musical passions. Classically trained on two continents, and having been drawn to jazz since childhood, he has navigated and flourished in these worlds, leaving a trail of critically acclaimed concerts and recordings, inspired compositions, and a growing roster of students making their own mark on the music scene.
HAYES GRIFFIN
Hayes Griffin is a multi-instrumentalist and music educator living in Columbus, OH. Hayes has over a decade's worth of experience touring with acts like Canadian fiddler April Verch and progressive bluegrass band Newtown, whose album Harlan Road featured Griffin’s guitar work and debuted at #8 on the Billboard Bluegrass Charts.
In 2020, Hayes developed a presence in the YouTube instructional community with his weekly series on the electric mandolin playing of Tiny Moore and later through his work with Mandolin Secrets.
