ABOUT THE FILMS ON DEC 2
Mystery of Love
Set in the present time, a girl, 18, beautiful and relentless, and a boy, 22, rough around the edges but charming. Despite living in the same small coastal town their whole lives, they have never met until now, on one perfect summer day. The girl, Vivian, is an only child who was raised by loving parents and has always been telling stories. She is on the road to head to NYU for a degree in English Literature. The boy, Theo, was born with a musical gene. Theo dreams of west coast blue skies and waters, he wants his music to be heard and enjoyed. This film will feature gut wrenching silence, smiles, comments, eye contact, and the unknown. You will get a glimpse into the mystery of their love because, with every look they share, they will never know what this connection means… until they do. At the end of the film, the two will separate, forever, or for only some time… we don’t know the unknown. But what we will know is these two individuals together.
Produced and written by Grace Oblinger. Starring Josiah Starr and Grace Oblinger.
