Doors at 7pm - Music at 7:30 - All tickets $28 - All ages
Presented by Interlochen Center for the Arts.
The “Interlochen in Town” series invites Interlochen’s world-class artistry—into town, and onto our stage. Join Interlochen’s faculty, students, and guests for diverse and dynamic performances that span artforms, genres, and styles.
Join us for an evocative program that celebrates the deep connections between music and other art forms. At the heart of the concert is Dana Wilson’s Musings for horn and piano, a work that gives voice to each of the nine Greek muses through expressive musical movements and poetic readings, brought to life by Laura Mittelstaedt.
The program also features works by Franz Liszt and Robert Schumann, alongside the world premiere of a new composition by Interlochen faculty member Cynthia Van Maanen—an exciting addition that expands the conversation between music and imagination.
